Hi, friends.

Today I want to show you some works of Miranda Mol, a classmate of mine at the SPD course (course's info). Miranda lives in Holland and is originally a designer of beautiful, geometric, modern lamps. Those are characteristics of her patterns too. Some of her patterns convey a 3D effect that come from that background (look at the image above. See how her "Tangerine Tango" pattern echoes the shapes of her lamps?). That pattern was recently featured on Rachael Taylor Designs' blog (on this post).

It’s a privilege to be part of the group we have at the SPD course, and it’s a huge privilege to have Miranda between us. Miranda is the first classmate to comment on the works of each of  the classmates and she always stimulates us all to go ahead. Such a generous classmate and friend.

I’m sure her work will have a lovely space in the market place.

Oi, amigos.

Hoje quero apresentar alguns trabalhos de Miranda Mol, uma colega do curso de SPD (informação do curso). Miranda mora na Holanda e originalmente é designer de lustres lindos, geométricos, modernos. Os padrões dela também podem ser assim caracterizados. Alguns dos padrões revelam uma qualidade tridimensional que ela traz na bagagem (veja a primeira imagem acima. Não é evidente como a estamparia do papel de parede ecoa as formas dos lustres?). Essa padronagem recentemente apareceu no blog da Rachael Taylor (neste post).

É um privilégio ser parte do grupo que temos no curso de SPD e é um privilégio ainda maior ter Miranda nesse grupo. Ela é a primeira a fazer comentários sobre os trabalhos de todos os participantes, sempre nos estimulando para seguirmos adiante. Super generosa e amiga.
