Upcoming

Copyright Believe Creative Studio, 2012

I'm happily  back to blogworld, after more than a month working on my entries to Indigo Paris September2012 as a guest designer of Believe Creative Studio. That studio is owned by the lovely and experienced designer Rosie Martinez-Dekker and her husband, Vincent Dekker. And they offered us, a bunch of more than 12 hard-working pattern guest designers, the opportunity to prepare a collection to be shown in the upcoming Indigo exhibition. I am glad to say the collection looks quite good, by the way. Hope our works are seen and valued over there. Such a challenger and an opportunity Rosie gave us and we are thrilled to be part of it. To get to know a bit more, you can have a look at the BCS blog and read about all designers there, if you may. It’s not possible to show any of those patterns publicly, because they are for sale and exclusivity is a valued asset in this field.  But here I am to tell that the patterns are gorgeous and all the experience has been a wonderful learning opportunity. In fact, I was very lucky to take part on this and I would like to thank all the group of designers, and Rosie in particular, for such an opportunity. Paris, here we go!

And because I am a visual person, and because I live in the south hemisphere, let me share with you  those lovely flowers that are blossoming in my garden, announcing the upcoming spring. Hope you enjoy it.
Cherry tree (from the neighbour's garden!)
Lovely tiny flower, common in Chile, name unknown
Peach tree flower. Amazingly beautiful.
Lovely. Lonicera Mandarim (See: http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/potd/lonicera_mandarin.jpg).
One of many ranunculus that are popping up. Gorgeous.
Lovely lilac primula.
